The Canberra Liberals have called for forensic services to be more accessible for victims of sexual assault.

The ACT opposition will move a motion in the Legislative Assembly today calling on the government to ensure forensic sampling and information about what to do in the event of a sexual assault is made easily available.

They will also echo calls for more funding for the Canberra Rape Crisis Service, which is currently only funded to have a support person available from 7am to 11pm daily.
