Canberra Help for Assange

Share:

It seems the U.S. Won’t back down in its pursuit against Wikileaks Founder JULIAN ASSANGE – despite intervention from Canberra.

Prime Minister ANTHONY ALBANESE says he has appealed with the U.S. – even directly speaking with President BIDEN to end the action.

The U.S. Wants to extradite Assange from the U.K. – subject to this week’s two day hearing in London which has been looking at an appeal to overturn the extradition order.

His wife and lawyer BOTH say extradition would lead to his death because of poor health.

Assange is facing 17 charges of espionage and one charge of computer misuse over his website’s publication of classified U-S documents.
