It’s to mark the fourth annual National Donor Heroes Night supporting organ and tissue donation.

By lighting a candle or turning on an outside light from 6pm, it allows Canberrans who have received a donation and their families, to honour those who have donated organs and tissue.

Last year the lives of 29 Canberrans were either saved or had their quality of life improved through donation.
