Canberrans are made the most of the six-month trial of the FuelCheck app with data revealing motorists saved around 8 cents a litre on standard unleaded, compared to the national average.

The NSW government’s FuelCheck app was trialed across 58 of 60 Canberra petrol retailers at no cost to the ACT government in November.

The app will remain available while a review considers the effectiveness of the app in Canberra.
