A collapsed limo company is still open to bookings made online for travel to and from Canberra Airport
Earlier this week, Brunel Chauffeur Drive and Limousines Pty Ltd went into liquidation.
Insolvency firm HoganSprowles was appointed.
The company offered luxury limousine services across Australia.
It’s been revealed, many clients were multi-millionaires who were private jet customers which were picked up from the airport. It’s not known how many politicians used the service at Canberra airport when travelling to and from Federal Parliament for sittings.
Liquidators estimate there was just over $8-million in the company’s bank account when they took over. More than $4-million dollars is owed to staff.
It was also found the company has more than 100 creditors with debts amassing nearly $12-million.
As of Friday afternoon, the company was still offering reservations in Canberra including an offer to earn airline frequent flyer points but no mention of the liquidation.
