Double Demerits are now in force across the A.C.T.

The measure will apply for five days, finishing at midnight on Sunday.

Double demerits will apply to all speeding, seatbelt, and mobile phone offences – juts to name a few.

Riding a motorcycle without a helmet is included but any other traffic offence will incur one additional demerit point.
