Police say they’ll monitor drug trends after the release of a report showing the A.C.T. was ranked one of the leading jurisdictions for oxycodone consumption.

Data was collected between April and June this year.

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission report.. revealed average capital city and regional increases across several drugs

ACT Chief Police Officer Neil Gaughan says they’ll continue to monitor the A.C.T.’s drug consumption trends… and he says as an example, cannabis consumption has increased nearly 26 percent.
