It seems there’s no end to sky-rocketing insurance for electric vehicles in Canberra.

E.V.’s proved to be a popular purchase in the A.C.T. – but now, a hidden cost has been revealed… paying the insurance.

There’s been a 36 percent rise in policy costs between the first quarter of 2022.. and the 3rd quarter of last year.

The insurance industry says it’s due to rising repair labour costs among other issues…

It’s understood, Canberra’s figures are the highest in the country – because of the high number of E.V.’s in the territory.
