A man will return to court later this year – accused of seriously assaulting two men in separate incidents

The man appeared in the A.C.T. Magistrates court last week, and was granted bail… after his lawyer referred to documents, showing he’d been assaulted in Canberra’s jail multiple times, since being arrested last month.

The man was facing charges over a punch up in October last year – which began after he allegedly pushed over an electric Scooter, out the front of Ainslie Village.

It’s further alleged, he was involved in another incident in January.

The man has denied the charges against him… and is due back in court, come August.
