The Territory’s Attorney General has weighed up the Pro’s and Con’s of the inquiry into the Parliament House Rape trial.

One one hand, Attorney General SHANE RATTENBURY says the Government’s frustrated by the pay-out of legal bills associated with the inquiry –

BUT he says, the Inquiry’s handed the Government worthwhile recommendations.

He says the costs to taxpayers was far from ideal – but he hoped, there’s no further litigation.

Highlighting the recommendations – he says they’re practical – which will be implemented – to improve the A.C.T.’s criminal justice system.
