More than 40 flights out of Sydney Airport have been cancelled due to poor weather.

Air Services Australia flagged the forecast of rain and wind with Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin and Rex overnight.

It’s caused a nightmare for passengers who are flying early for school holidays – to the AFL Grand Final or the respective NRL prelim-finals.
