Floriade’s been described as “a blooming success”.

Canberra’s month-long floral spectacular saw more than 427-thousand people attend this year’s event which had been forced to take a break over the past two years because of the pandemic.

The number of people in attendance makes it into the top-ten achievements of the event’s 35 year history.

Organisers are already planning next year’s event, due to begin in mid-September in Commonwealth Park with the theme “Floral Wonderland”.
