Former Yass Local Praised at the Tennis Open

He came from Yass high School – today, he’s being hailed for the success behind the mens doubles competition at this years Australian Tennis Open.

ALISTAIR MURPHY’s being praised for his role in the Aussie doubles win.

These days he’s Youth Physical Development and Applied Science Manager at Tennis Australia.

His background involves time at Charles Sturt University, monitoring youth players

He’s also been awarded his PhD in Exercise Science.

It’s been many years since he was the Yass High School Captain.

Aged in his 30’s – These days he’s known as Doctor Murphy.
