The future of the hospice remained in limbo, following the government’s decision last month to takeover Calvary Bruce public hospital.
Calvary and the ACT government have since then come to a mutual agreement about the future of Clare Holland House, announcing the government will take control of the hospice next week.
Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith says the decision would ensure continued care for patients needing public palliative health services.
