Health Seeks Early Payment for Christmas

Unions acting on behalf of A.C.T. Health want an early Christmas present for its Canberra based members.

Three unions – Professionals Australia, the Community and Public Sector Union as well as the Health Services Union – want the A.C.T. Government to bring forward a $1250 payment, that’s part a Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement.

They’ve called for the gesture to be considered as a “One Off” cost-of-living payment, to be made before Christmas.

Unions says it would help health professionals to make ends meet going into the holiday period.
