Mystery surrounds an aircraft incident at Canberra Airport.

It’s understood,  the pilots of a plane declared an emergency this-morning.

The incident has been confirmed by the Australian Transportation Safety Bureau but details remain under investigation.

Canberra Airport Media has refused to comment.
