An 18-year-old man has been charged with multiple family violence offences after allegedly attacking his former partner over a three month period.
Between March and May this year, police allege the man strangled, assaulted and stalked his former partner on various occasions.
In one incident, the man allegedly drove his car down a street while his former partner was on top of the car’s bonnet.
The incidents were reported to police yesterday afternoon, with the man arrested outside Gungahlin Police Station.
The 18 year old will face the ACT Magistrates Court today.
