A Canberra’s man’s fate remains in the balance after appearing in court – pleading guilty to charges of driving a car at police.

The charges follow an incident in July last year when police pulled over another vehicle – when the driver of another car drove directly at three officers.

The 30 year old man from Hawker pleaded guilty to lessor charges… and strict bail conditions were ruled as part of a fresh indictment.

The court was told the man was diagnosed with schizophrenia – two months before the incident.

The matter goes back to court for sentencing in February.
