A.C.T. Health has confirmed, one concert goer has been admitted to Canberra Hospital with meningocococcal.
Close contacts are being identified and contacted directly.
Authorities say while meningococcal disease is uncommon, it can be severe and lead to life-long complications or death.
It’s understood, People can carry the meningococcal bacteria in their throats and not know they have symptoms, but can still pass it on to close contacts.
