A busy time for repair crews across Canberra after last night’s storm.

Worst affected appears to be the A.C.T.’s northern suburbs but the storm activity also hit parts of the CBD.

At the height of the storm – more than 13,000 people lost power.

Despite last night’s wet weather – We’re being told to prepare for some hot days ahead in Canberra…

Today – the A.C.T. Will see a TOP Temperature in the high 30’s… near 40….

The Red Cross is reminding us to drink water regularly, – stay indoors, take cool showers, and make sure there is adequate air circulation.

We’re also being told to make sure our pets are staying cool.
