Four new electric buses have joined Canberra’s fleet, being unveiled at the Belconnen Bus Depot.

This is part of the ACT Government’s transition away from fossil-fuel powered public transport.

Transport Minister Chris Steel says the buses will be running to the public ‘shortly’. 

The introduction of these buses will bring the total number of electric buses to 16, with 90 more to be delivered in the next three years.
