The A.C.T. Branch of the Master Builders Asscociation has welcomed the Territory’s move to allow more housing in suburban zoning areas.

Federal Labor’s adoption of the policy would permit more houses to be built in Canberra… as outlined at the party’s recent annual conference.

The M.B.A. Has also welcomed Labor’s announcement to recognise the importance – of introducing trade contractor licensing – to address building quality issues.

Figures show the A.C.T. Is forecast to grow by 10-thousand people a year.
