A report will be prepared for the coroner following the death of a motor-cyclist just north of the A.C.T. border.

The smash occurred around one yesterday afternoon, near the intersection of Vaughan Drive.

A man – aged in his 50’s – was riding an A.C.T. registered motorcycle on Sutton Road when it left the roadway and hit a tree.

A passing motorist raised the alarm – calling triple zero

Witnesses performed C.P.R. on the man until paramedics arrived, but the rider died at the scene.

Anyone who may have dashcam vision or more information, should contact police.
