New Learner Driver Opportunity

Share:

Learner Drivers in the A.C.T. will this week be able to take a first aid course which will count as credit towards their driving books.

Transport Minister CHRIS STEEL says it’ll allow students to complete first-aid training, so they can assist in the follow up to a crash… particularly if they’re first on the scene.

From this week, Learner drivers, who’ve had a licence for atleast three months, will be able to claim five hours towards their mandatory supervised driving hours requirement by taking one of eight approved courses.

The program has the support of St John Ambulance – and the A.C.T.’s VAL DEMPSEY – the Senior Australian of the year.

Conditions apply.
