Police have begun preparations ahead of the Convoy to Canberra’s return leading to Tuesday’s federal budget.

An Influx of anti vaccine mandate protestors are expect to return to the Nation’s Capital over the coming week.

Chief Police Officer Neil Gaughan says an incident involving protestors and a bus and cars on Northbourne Avenue is being investigation.

“Illegal activity we will arrest people for, but obviously we can’t be everywhere,” Mr Gaughan said.

“We ask people that if something like that is happening we urge people to call us on 131 444 and we’ll get a car there as soon as possible.”
