A new report’s found – there’s been a 31 percent rise in the number of misconduct proceedings involving the A.C.T.’s public service.
According to the Territory Government’s “STATE OF THE SERVICE” report – there were 113 misconduct proceedings last financial year
But while the number of processes increased, up from 87 in the previous year, the report stated, it does NOT equate to an increase in misconduct.
There were 52 misconduct findings against ACT public servants over the year – only one more than the previous year.
Among the most reported allegations – failure to treat people with respect, failure to follow a direction, unauthorised release of information, sexual harassment and bullying
