Radiographers at the Canberra Hospital will undergo industrial action in the coming days.
The Community and Public Sector Union is responsible for the action, saying it’s concerned patients could be left with inadequate public health care if issues aren’t addressed.
Pay is a key issue, with the medical imaging service losing staff due to the difference in pay between the ACT and other jurisdictions.
C-P-S-U National President Brooke Muscat says it’s difficult to attract staff due to better pay elsewhere.
Radiographers will not do any overtime from 12.01am today.
A spokesperson from Canberra Health Services says there will be no impact on the delivery of services.
