There’s been a drop in Canberra’s rents.. but they remain the second highest in the country.

CoreLogic’s Rental Market Update shows that rents in Canberra eased 1.9 per cent last year – but despite the drop, the A.C.T. has the second highest rates, compared with the rest of the country.

It seems there are higher vacancy rates – and more choice in the market, thanks to new developments.

New Productivity Commission figures show total social housing in the ACT has increased over the last decade.
