Road closures and travel impacts for Marathon Festival weekend

Share:

Canberrans are advised to plan ahead this weekend as an expanded Canberra Times Marathon Festival takes place across the city.

The event is expected to attract more than 12,000 participants, with races held through the Parliamentary Triangle and surrounding suburbs, including Yarralumla, Campbell, Forrest and Barton.

Bus services will be operating with temporary changes, including stop closures and relocations, which may require commuters to walk a greater distance than usual.

Significant road closures and traffic management arrangements will be in place during event hours, with roads reopening progressively as races conclude.
