A man remains in custody ahead of a March court date, for resisting capture by police in Canberra.

The 23 year old allegedly threw roof tiles at officers, in a bid to evade capture on parole violations.

The men previously spent time behind bars after being convicted on burglary and dangerous driving offences…

He was released on parole in 2022  but failed to meet imposed conditions…

As officers tried to bring him in, it’s alleged he threw the tiles from the roof of his home, before finally being arrested. He’s been remanded in custody to face court in March.
