Police have thrown the book at three people over separate charges across the weekend in Canberra….
In one case – a 45 year old man was taken into custody on Saturday and allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit… of Point One Six Six.
Police say a search of the man’s Dunlop property located multiple cannabis plants and a hydroponic cultivation system.
In another incident, a 40 year old Karabar woman who failed to appear in court nearly a fortnight ago, attended a police station on Saturday night – and was allegedly found with methylamphetamine in her handbag.
and the third person was a 20 year old man who was arrested for driving without a licence, and allegedly driving with a blood alcohol reading of POINT ONE SIX ONE. As an unlicenced driver, he was supposed to have a ZERO blood alcohol limit.
