A 44-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly biting an ACT Policing officer during an arrest on Monday morning.
About 8:30am on December 22, police were called to a residence in Moncrieff following a report of a disturbance between the woman and her partner.
Police spoke to the pair, with both agreeing to keep the Kings Peace for 24 hours.
Later that morning, police returned to the home following a report the woman was again allegedly acting aggressively.
Officers established that a breach of the peace had occurred and placed the woman under arrest.
During the arrest, the woman became aggressive and allegedly bit one of the arresting officers on the leg.
The woman has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of resist territory public official.
