A.C.T. Trial on Saving Grocery Money

Share:

A unique shopping trial is underway in Canberra which helps to keep down prices during the cost-of-living crisis and avoid the supermarket jungle.

Local neighborhoods in the A.C.T. have joined together to create their own shopping co-op called “BOX DIVVY” to save money on groceries.

It uses an online app for shoppers to buy food and supplies at wholesale prices, instead of bricks and mortar grocery stores…

Box Divvy Co-founder Jane Travers-Drapes says the neighborhood co-ops are saving Canberrans 30 percent on their groceries.
