A man remains behind bars after appearing in the A.C.T. Magistrates court charged over a stabbing incident in Canberra.
Court documents show the 36 year old was at a birthday party last Sunday in South Canberra.
The court was told, the man stabbed his brother-in-law 4 to 5 times, after an argument over a family matter.
The victim remains in a stable condition – the 36 year old handed himself in to police…. and his defence lawyer says the man has expressed remorse.
Bail was refused – the case goes back to court next month.
