Canberra’s Apartment prices are expected to grow more than houses this year
It’s a new development, thanks to a report from Residential Property Prospects.
It claims – Canberra home prices experienced one of the deepest declines across the capital cities in 2023
The territory’s median house price ended the 2023 financial year down 6.4 per cent to $968,000.
Moving forward, the report says median house prices will exceed a million dollars – but it’s UNIT prices that will be the top performer.
It also says Canberra is the 2nd most affordable market in the country, which should help first home buyers.
