Batik Confirms Canberra Link

Canberra’s latest International Airline entrant has locked in its schedule, linking the National Capital with direct flights to Bali.

Last week, Batik Air announced its intentions to fly directly between Canberra and Denpasar –

On Monday, it locked it all in.

Flights will operate on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday beginning mid June… and there’s talk already of increasing the schedule to four days a week.

Canberra is the sixth destination in Australia for the airline, which is owned by Indonesia’s LION AIR group. SM CRN.

At the moment, Fiji Air is the only other international carrier with schedules to include Canberra.

Fiji Air also offers connections with North America.
