A 45-year-old Belconnen man has been charged after allegedly assaulting two store managers in the City on December 30.

Police allege the 45-year-old man attended a store in the City and attempted to steal some items just after 12pm.

When approached by two store managers, the man allegedly became aggressive.

He allegedly shoved one of the managers, and slapped, hit and pulled the hair of the other before leaving.

The man was arrested a short time later.
