Some good news on passenger numbers through Canberra Airport.

It seems we’re almost back to pre-pandemic levels of travellers passing through the facility.

According to Canberra Airport’s Head of Aviation Michael Thomson “We’re sort of operating somewhere between 85 and 95 percent of pre-pandemic. The airport is really starting to buzz”.

Figures reveal family travel is a key component with a good result from recent school holiday travel

“as we push on to Christmas, we would imagine that more and more people are going travel” he said.

Officials are also looking forward to Canberra airport hosting more international services in the future.
