The Eurobodalla Shire Council has written to Canberrans that own homes down the coast, to open them up for people to rent.

The Council has made the request in response to the Shire’s rental crisis, with up to 50 households living on campgrounds over the winter.

Eurobodalla Shire Mayor Matthew Hatcher says it’s not something unique to the region, but it’s being compounded by the previous bushfires and Covid-19
