Canberrans are being warned about a thief who’s stealing delivery packages from the front of homes and making off with Christmas gifts.

The alarm was raised after the most recent incident involving one KAMBAH Family – who lost $200 worth of presents just minutes after they were delivered.

And it was all captured on the home security camera.

It’s believed, the thief could be following an Australian Post van around Canberra suburbs – to steal packages, moments after they’re delivered.

The thief got into a getaway car with stolen number plates.

Police say – anyone concerned about the thefts, should consider alternative options.
