A man has surrendered his passport as part of bail conditions after appearing in court to face sex assault charges.

The 33 year old was arrested on Sunday and charged with multiple offences that allegedly occurred nearly a month ago in Yarralumla.

This week, the court was told  the man met a woman on a dating website.

No pleas have yet been entered.

The case returns to the A.C.T. Magistrates court in three weeks.
