There’s Good AND bad news involving the A.C.T.’s electricity bills
We all know, electricity rates have increased over the past year.
But new figures show, the bills only went up slightly in Canberra.
A 5% increase for house-holds, consuming about 8,000 kilowatt hours on average – that’s about 115-dollars a year.
It’s considered as a “BELOW” inflation rise.
When it comes to gas – it’s a different story, with the annual cost increasing by nearly 300 dollars in the past year.
