Forensic Police are investigating this-morning’s fatal crash on the Barton Highway near Murrumbateman.

The driver of one of the vehicles died in the smash.

The male driver of a toyota hilux was trapped in the wreck and had to be freed before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital.

It’s understood he’s in a serious but stable condition.

Officers with the Hume Police district are involved in the investigation into HOW the smash happened.

any witnesses – who may also have dashcam vision, are being urged to contact police.
