The A.C.T. Transport Minister says he’s confident Canberra’s current infrastructure projects won’t fall victim to the Federal Government’s razor gang.

Minister CHRIS STEEL says the Commonwealth review would be a positive thing for the A.C.T. Which he says has suffered under-investment under the previous Federal Coalition Government.

The review’s been ordered – with the aim of cutting Federal Funding from projects to help ease inflation.

Many States and Territories have been involved in preliminary discussions to determine spending priorities

Minister STEEL says the A.C.T. had a very strong case to argue for future Commonwealth Investment for Canberra’s infrastructure and transport projects.
