It’s a mixed bag of results from this week’s release of data from the Bureau of Infrastructure and Transport Research Economics.

On total performances for November, the report found, REX had 74.1 percent of ontime departures compared with Jetstar on 66.7 percent.
In Canberra, Rex only has the one daily service to Melbourne.
Despite its recent issues involving its fleet, Bonza came out on top with 73.3 percent on time punctuality.

Qantas recorded 63.9 percent and Virgin on 57 percent.

In a statement from Qantas:

The unacceptably high number of cancellations on Qantas’ Canberra-Sydney flights has continued to drop, with a change in fleet mix used to help protect the route from disruption on the airline’s regional network,”

In November, less than four per cent of flights were cancelled, down from 10 per cent in October.”
