A man’s not due to enter a plea until later this month after making an initial court appearance on a so-called “Stealthing” charge in Canberra.
It’s the A.C.T.’s first prosecution of its type.
“Stealthing” occurs when a person secretly removes a condom without the consent of a sexual partner.
The accused did not enter a plea – but was granted bail when he briefly appeared in the A.C.T. Magistrates court last Friday.
He’s due back in court in more than 3 weeks where he’s expected to enter a plea.
