The new facility will be built in Conder, with services tailored to the needs of the community in South Tuggeranong.
This is the first of four new centres, with the coming three being built in the Inner South, North Gungahlin and West Belconnen.
The ACT Government committed 16-point-6 million dollars to design and construct the South Tuggeranong facility and planning for additional buildings in the 20-23-24 budget.
There will be upcoming opportunities for residents to have their say on the centres coming to the Inner South and Gungahlin.
