Police say further testing is required on seized items from a vehicle involved in a police stop last week in the southern highlands.

The police stop last Thursday night netted officers with a 35 year old Goulburn man,  who they say was caught with a 3D printed    single-shot pistol   – loaded with  ammunition.

NSW Highway Patrol officers stopped the man for a roadside test for drugs and alcohol on the Illawarra Highway near Robertson

A Police search of the vehicle allegedly ALSO found prohibited drugs, nunchuks, and a baton.

The items are undergoing additional testing.

The man was charged with multiple offences.
