The A.C.T. Government’s moving to build a new 13-million dollar community centre and youth hub in Gungahlin.

A development application’s been lodged – after funding to build the facility was allocated in this year’s territory budget.

The location is currently a Government car park, just metres from the light rail terminus.

The design follows community consultation in 2021 –

The Gungahlin Community council has welcomed the next step – after many years of talk.

The Development Application’s open for comment until October 25.
