It seems Canberra’s rabbit population continues to rise.

Authorities say favourable weather conditions across the A.C.T. in recent years – have created a good breeding ground for rabbits – and they’re spreading into new areas.

Previously, bio-contrl programs were used to bring down their numbers – but experts say, they’ve built up a resistance.

The A.C.T. Government says its control program is highly effective in reducing the rabbit population.
